One can experience an awe and wonder when approaching an element or section of a tree. This experience is similar to, yet different from, being enveloped by a forest or even a tree-lined street. Being present to what I meet, within the stillness this requires, somehow elicits an awareness of my own body. There is a sense of mystery the tree exudes….. that each small part has been created with so much care and beauty into a unity of the whole.
