In this series I have an overall concept to combine images of my paintings with photos of some aspect of Nature. I start from here to compose the image but as I go along I can be led in a variety of directions which may lead to different forms of digital transformations. I look to have an image that is aesthetically correct to my eye. The resulting piece often serves me the way a mandala might…..I begin to see into my own art piece thoughts, ideas, realizations….that I never would have thought to work with at the beginning. These photographs have been produced with the sublimation process, giving them an illuminated quality.
